To the Women Who Built UZA

Every great story starts with family, and UZA's begins with my mother and the incredible women who shaped my world.

My mother's influence goes beyond the typical mother-daughter relationship – she witnessed my earliest attempts at design, those childhood moments spent sketching and dreaming. But more importantly, she showed me that fashion isn't just about clothes; it's about how we move through the world.

My best friends have been integral to UZA's journey, serving as more than just muses – they're my reality check, my testing ground, and my honest critics.

Their diverse body types and personalities have shaped UZA's approach to design and sizing. When they tell me something doesn't work, I listen. When they feel confident in a piece, I know we've succeeded.

This intimate circle of women has created the foundation for what UZA would become – a brand that understands women's needs because it's built on real relationships and honest feedback.

Ibiza has been my second home since childhood, splitting my life between the island's wild beauty and elsewhere. This deep connection to Ibiza shapes everything about UZA's spirit.

My travels beyond the island – from Brazil's vibrant shores to Tanzania's untamed landscapes, from Fiji's crystal waters to New Zealand's dramatic coastlines – have each added their own touch to UZA's designs .

Each place has taught me something unique about color, form, and how women around the world connect with the water, all flowing back into creating something distinctly UZA.

Lastly, my own battles with body dysmorphia and eating disorders have profoundly shaped UZA's core mission. I've lived through dramatic body transformations, experiencing firsthand the frustration of finding swimwear that understood these changes.

This personal journey led to UZA's commitment to true size inclusivity, ranging from 2XS to 6XL . Each size isn't simply scaled up or down; it's engineered with the understanding that different bodies need different support. When I design, I think about every version of myself I've been, and every woman who's felt excluded by limited sizing.

At its heart, UZA exists for one simple reason: I want every woman to feel confident enough to rock a bikini at the beach, no matter what society tells them about their body.
